This training is designed for a wide range of professionals responsible for safety who are involved in the planning, decision-making, or safety management of public areas, properties, events, and services.
During the training, you will learn to identify all types of hazards and systematically assess the risks they pose in accordance with legal requirements. The training content is based on EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR, EU 2023/988).
Since 2014, Safe to Play has been developing and applying risk assessment methods for consumer services in playgrounds and local outdoor exercise areas. This training builds on years of hands-on experience and international collaboration with leading experts in the field.

Did you know? Hazard identification and risk assessment apply to a wide variety of services, environments, and facilities:
- Public recreational areas and facilities: Playgrounds and outdoor fitness areas (of course!), natural playgrounds, sports grounds and indoor sports facilities, parks, outdoor trails (hiking, snowmobiling, cycling, etc.), lean-to shelters, boat launching areas, piers, local woodlands, beaches, waterfront areas, and more.
- Consumer services: Adventure and experience-based activities, safaris, and other recreational services.
- Events: Trade fairs, large-scale public events, and more.
- Public spaces: Properties, municipal facilities, and other public spaces.
