S2P certified persons have proven their competence to handle safety of playground and recreational sports areas. The certification level indicates the tasks the person is qualified to take care of.

S2P Operate is certification of persons who work with equipment installation, area maintenance, and operational inspections.
S2P Design is certification of persons who, in addition to the competencies of the Operate level, work with layout design, installation supervision, and mid-installation inspections.
S2P Manage is certification of persons who, in addition to the competencies of the Operate level, work with personnel leadership and safety and risk management.
S2P Project is certification of persons who, in addition to the competencies of the Operate, Design, and Manage levels, work with construction project management and the procurement and sales of equipment.
S2P Inspect★ is certification of persons who, in addition to the competencies of the Project level, carry out annual main inspections and post-installation inspections using risk assessment.
S2P Inspect★★ is certification of persons who, in addition to the competencies of the Project level, carry out demanding annual main and post-installation inspections using risk assessment and handle other safety-related expert assignments.
S2P Inspect★★ Examiner is certification of persons who, in addition to the competencies of the Inspect★★ level, supervise practical examinations.
S2P Assess is certification of persons who work with consumer safety using general hazard recognition and risk assessment.
